Version 1.0 of the ModernGnosis Video Widget has been released. Download it here

The ModernGnosis Video widget is designed for Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard. It allows you to view all the videos that show up on the front page of ModernGnosis.org on your dashboard.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you’re using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.

VERSION HISTORY

1.0 - Initial release. Widget shows the videos from ModernGnosis.org and allows you to click arrows to select previous or later videos. On the back, you can see a description of the video as well as a description of the “Tau Sciam” podcast on iTunes (widget mirrors the iTunes feed). You can also subscribe to the video feed in iTunes by clicking “subscribe” on the back of the widget.
